We have standard models, but we also create "tailor-made" models, which are created according to specific wishes. In addition to wigs, we also sell hair parts as an alternative depending on how extensive hair loss or thinning hair you have. Fairwithhair has long worked with cancer patients, and therefore has a solid experience, we know how important it is for the customer to feel nice, safe and heard, when they come to us for help. Most often, patients experience that the loss of hair is especially difficult, because it is visible not only to themselves, but also to people around.

Wig and cancer treatment

It is very individual how much hair you lose. There are many things that affect this, such as the course of the disease and how your body responds to treatment. Some treatments lead to thinning hair while others lead to hair loss completely. Your doctor is the one who can give you the best information about what exactly your situation looks like regarding your treatment. Therefore, we recommend that you contact us as soon as you know when you will start your treatment to get it done on time without stress.

Support from different county councils (Landsting/Regioner)

How much a wig costs depends on what model it is and the length of the hair. For those of you who are in need of a hair replacement due to illnesses, need to go through a doctor / prescriber to get a requisition from the county council (Landstinget/Regionen) issued. We at Fairwithhair cannot influence this process in any way. WE CAN ONLY RECEIVE A VALID REQUIREMENT.

Support from Region Stockholm

Stockholm gives SEK 5,000 in grants. People under the age of 17 receive SEK 7,500. Amounts differ between the county councils (Landsting/Regioner). If the cost of the hair replacement exceeds the allowance on the requisition, you need to pay the difference to us.

Wig purchase with requisition

We have a wide range of wigs, both synthetic and real human hair that can be ordered on our website. When it comes to purchases in our physical store and online with requisitions, we only sell wigs, hair extensions and hair parts of Premium and Luxury quality, made from real hair. I.e. products of the highest quality, which we can guarantee quality and which last a long time with proper care.

Previously, we have offered products of medium quality and synthetic wigs, unfortunately this resulted in customers complaining about the quality and complaining to the County Council (Landstinget/Regionen), despite clarity on our part. Therefore, we changed how we work and now have an agreement to only sell products of the highest quality to everyone who uses a requisition, because the cooperation with the County Council (Landstinget/Regionen) is important to us and we want satisfied customers, not only momentarily, but also long after the purchase at our place.

How to get a requisition? - If the doctor deems that you need a wig or other hair replacement, contact the County Council (Landstinget/Regionen) you belong to, to get a requisition. After receiving the requisition, you contact us and book an appointment for a consultation at the salon or distance.

How does a requisition work? - A requisition is a question, order or request for usually money or goods, usually in writing on a pre-printed form.

How to pay with requisition? - A requisition means, unlike invoicing, that we do not demand payment from the customer/patient but request to receive the sum on the requisition.

Which wig is best? - Synthetic wigs are a good choice for those who do not want to pay too much. However, when you decide to buy a wig of synthetic hair, you should first pay attention to the quality of the synthetic hair used.

How long does it take to get a wig? - Consultation and testing of the wig take about an hour. If we have the wig at home, you will get the wig with you immediately, otherwise we book a return visit. If we need to place an order, it usually takes a day up to one-two weeks
